Conference presentations

We traveled to Germany to represent ANTAC at the annual World Conference on Holistic Medicine held in Munich, Germany.

The conference brought together traditional healers, health practitioners of alternative and complementary medicine to discuss and share healing practices from around the world. Traditional healers from Canada, South America, Russia, Africa, Europe, and Australia with ANTAC shared their work and healing practices.

The presentation delivered was received very well. We received positive feedback and congratulated on the forward looking approach to bring Aboriginal knowledge and traditional healing practices within clinical settings.

We received the invitation to attend again the World Conference with ANTAC delegation presenting and sharing its work and vision for the future of Aboriginal traditional medicine.

We have been very honoured to be invited to the Indigenous Allied Health Australia's national conference held in Perth in November 2017.

Our CEO gave a keynote speech about the role and significance of Aboriginal Traditional Medicine from an international and national perspective. She shared our story, how we met and how came together to establish ANTAC, the first organization of Aboriginal traditional healers in Australia. 

Francesca remarked the importance of acknowledging the place and role of Aboriginal traditional medicine within Australia's national health care system. She shared our vision to be embraced as legitimate traditional health care practitioners and to work in collaboration with mainstream health care practitioners.
