The Aṉangu Ngangkari Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation (ANTAC) provides a range of ngangkari services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. Ngangkari services consist of three typologies of interventions: health care assessments and treatments; cleansing of indoor and outdoor areas (public buildings, health care facilities, private houses, and surrounding areas); educational workshops and training packages about Aboriginal traditional medicine and its 60,000 years-old methods of healing. Ngangkari treatments are offered to anyone in need, both adults and children.
ANTAC’s ngangkari services are delivered by accredited ngangkari members of the Aṉangu Ngangkari Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation. The ngangkari are accredited through a strict accreditation process in accordance with Ngangkariku Tjukurpa, that is Ngangkari’s Law which stands at the core of the ngangkari’s traditional medical knowledge system. The process of accreditation is set out in rule 3.4 of the ANTAC’s Rulebook. All accredited ngangkari are listed in the Register of Ngangkari available from the main menu.
ANTAC provides the following services:
