We are the ngangka?i

Aboriginal traditional healers – from the A?angu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands (APY), in the far northwest of South Australia.
We have come together and set up our own organization, the A?angu Ngangka?i Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation (ANTAC),
to support the maintenance and handing down of our ancient healing practices and knowledge to future generations. We aim to travel across the country to reach out everyone in need, to heal everyone feeling sick, lost or depressed.

ANTAC is a not-for-profit social enterprise which aims to achieve the following goals:

  • to create a sustainable employment pathway for Aboriginal traditional healers
  • to introduce a systematic and sustainable service delivery model to ensure access to Aboriginal traditional healing practices for anyone in need in Australia and overseas
  • to support the recognition of Aboriginal traditional healers as legitimate traditional health care practitioners within a national two-way health care model
  • to provide a sustainable platform to support the maintenance of the 60,000 year-old Aboriginal traditional medical knowledge system and its practice in the XXI century.
